Para Lorentz跟找來的左翼電影工作者們（Paul Strand、Ralph Steiner、Leo Hurwitz等Workers Film and Photo League成員），對於影片處理沙塵暴的定位（批判政府或倡議環保）有點不同。抒情感強，Virgil Thomson配樂居功厥偉。資金來自政府，反對黨認為是羅斯福新政的宣傳片。
虽然是来来回回的一大堆鸡汤吧，而且制作质量也非常cheesy，但是不得不说传达的message跟我之前得到的revelation还蛮一致的：关注并坚信你想追求的、the world is your catalog、envision、there are enough recourses and happiness for everyone、you are the manifestation of God’s energy。
